Assenheim, Hessen - baptism in 1759 - Ehwald family - transcription help
This is the baptismal entry for Catharina Maria Ehwald born in 1759 in Assenheim. I'm fairly sure this is the mother of Anna Margareth Kopp born in 1783 whose baptismal entry only mentions the mother as "Catharine Marie" and no maiden name (the father's name is Johann Jacob Kopp). However, I found a marriage entry in 1775 in Assenheim with the couple named Johann Jacob Kopp and Cathar. Marie Ehwaldin, so this is how I got the maiden name of Ehwald for the mother of Anna Margareth Kopp (see 3rd attachment above - I don't need a transcription of the marriage).
The second attachment above is the full page for the baptismal entry.
I would appreciate help to fill in the blanks of my transcription and a translation.
Any help is appreciated!
Debra

Meyers Gazetteer map https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/10446042 Erbstadt is southeast of Assenheim. Is this probably the right place?

My additions in bold:

Maria Catharina Diehlin von Brohenbruck so ihm den Nahmen
Catharina Maria ertheilet. +27.6.1799 [death date]
Translation:
3.) the 6th of february [1759] in the afternoon between 2 - 3 o'clock Anna Agatha Hofmann gave birth for the 2nd time to a daughter who had been obtained in fornication; as father she names Johannes Ehwald. [The child] was baptized on the 8th of the same month and lifted by honorable Keller's? maid shepherd Catharina Mörsel of Erbstadt and Maria Catharina Diehl of Brohenbruck, who gave her the name Catharina Maria. +27.6.1799 [death date]
Comment: Yes, I agree that that this is the correct Erbstadt. Brohenbruck is probably "Bruchenbrücken" in Meyers (https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/10248029).
Since Catharina Maria was born illegitimate she would not have had the name "Ehwald" from birth. Maybe her mother Anna Agatha later married the alleged father.

I couldn't read the part of the entry which mentions the mother Anna Agatha has named Johannes Ehwald as the father, thus the child Catharina Maria was born out of wedlock. I had just assumed they were married.
As you mentioned, maybe the mother Anna Agatha later married the alleged father. Now I have on my list of records to research, a possible marriage entry for Anna Agatha Hofmann and Johannes Ehwald.
Thank you, @Ulrich Neitzel for your additions - they are very helpful !
