What does 'ebenmäßig' (if that's the word) mean in this context?
This word in a 1744 Alsace marriage record looks to be 'ebenmäßig' which the dictionary tells me is 'smooth'. Is this the right word and does it mean something else in this context? Thanks!

Yes, the word is "ebenmäßig". Here it is used in the (outdated) meaning of "ebenfalls" = likewise (or Latin pariter, similiter https://woerterbuchnetz.de/?sigle=DWB&lemid=E00053).
It means here that this marriage happened likewise on the 1 December, as the preceding marriage.
