July 9. Margretha Elisabeth, née Schellenbergerin, tobacconist Justin Hartmann's wife, died on the 8th of July and was buried on the 9th of the same month. Age: 29 and 3/4 years.

Illness: consumption/tuberculosis.

___ ___ body/corpse? ___ ___ was held by Mr. Pastor Wiss.

I read:

Auch diese Leiche habe ich vor Herrn Pfarrer Wiss gehalten.

... but am not sure about the meaning: I have held this corpse in front of Pfarrer Wiss ??

What it may mean: I have held the funeral sermon (Leichenrede) with Pfarrer Wiss attending.
